El Ãndice de consistencia (Ic) se define como:
Ic = (LL - h) / (LL - LP)
El Ãndice de plasticidad sitúa la humedad natural (h) respecto a los lÃmites lÃquido (LL) y plástico (LP). Dicho Ãndice tiene un valor 0 para la humedad del LÃmite lÃquido y un valor 1 para la humedad del LÃmite plástico.
